I was going to write a sappy quote like I always do, but I decided to be real here. You see, we are not that ‘perfect couple’ that you see in photos here on the internet. Nobody is! We have a lot of things to work on – I have a hard time apologizing because sometimes I can’t see where I have done anything wrong, and Cody has a hard time being patient.

Marriage takes a lot of effort, commitment, love, trust, respect, and appreciation. We always have something to work on and can always do better. I need to do better at listening, taking criticism, and apologizing. Remember that a relationship goes through phases, just like children.

Life can get the best of you and sometimes it’s easy to feel disconnected. We try to make time for dates so that we don’t allow that to happen. Let’s be honest though, it is difficult. It is very important to take the time to reconnect and understand one another. I am very thankful for this man and I wouldn’t want to do life with anyone else. I love you!XOXO
